Search every Ofsted inspection report

Search and filter every cached inspection report by grade, category, date and inspector.

Report Search is the raw evidence base, made navigable. Every inspection report the platform holds under the new framework, filterable along the dimensions that actually matter when you are looking for comparators or precedent.

How do I find inspection reports like my school's?

Filter by sector, then by the grades awarded in the categories you care about, then narrow by date to keep the comparison current. The result is a working set of reports that are genuinely comparable, rather than whatever a general web search surfaces.

Filtering by inspector is available too, which is occasionally revealing when you are trying to understand how a particular judgement was reached.

What is in the search index?

Every inspection report cached under the November 2025 framework across primary, secondary and special schools, with the six category grades extracted and indexed alongside the report text. The index is rebuilt as new reports are synced, so newly published inspections become searchable without delay.

Report Search is available to subscribers

Full access is £49 a year for your school, including three users. Additional users from £15 a year each. A free account gives you the core data views and the weekly email digest.
